Let's Go Shopping: Teachers can select images from the database and import them into programs such as Kidspiration, Inspiration or KidPix to create a drag and drop interactive activity for primary students that addresses math standards concerning the value of money. Images from the database that depict toys, food, clothes, etc. are given a price by teachers. Students must then drag the correct amount of coins or bills to purchase each object from the clip art library to the area beneath the object. This could be an activity that is conducted full class or in small groups or for independent practice.
